Cathedral was formed in 2000 by three directors who had previously worked together at a blue chip financial institution. Cathedral was set up with the prime objective of providing quality financial advice to individuals and companies over the longer term. Over the years our client numbers have grown successfully, largely due to personal recommendations.

We ask questions and assess your goals and aspirations along with your current financial situation allowing us to plan for your future. We adjust your plan as your goals and situation changes and our independence ensures we always have your best interests in mind.
Planning for the risks of illness, job loss or death and the effects these things could have on your family will probably be an important part of your financial planning. Taking the time to assess how much you would need to provide your family with an income in the future is one of the most sensible steps you could take.
Life assurance pays out a lump sum or a series of payments to your dependents in the event of your death. You will pay a monthly premium or an annual sum to the life assurance company for either term assurance or the whole of life assurance. Life assurance can be combined with other forms of insurance such as critical illness insurance so that you receive a lump sum if diagnosed with a specified critical illness or upon death.

We used Cathedral Independent Financial Advisors to help with a couple of mortgages. One transaction in particular was not straightforward but Alex and the team were very helpful and proactive. I had used Cathedral Financial to previously help to find a great product when I needed to re-mortgage. So it made sense to use them again when the fixed rate came to an end. I specified what I wanted to achieve and their adviser (Alex) found the best product to suit my financial needs. There was some form filling to do, but once done, the process was very easy.
