Wolfgang Kerck founded Bourne Park Capital in 1999. Previously he had been managing regional debt capital market origination teams in London for Lehman Brothers and Credit Suisse First Boston for almost fifteen years. After obtaining a law degree at the University of Vienna, he also lived in Paris where he obtained an MBA from INSEAD and worked for several years as a corporate finance banker.
BPC has strong expertise in tailoring individual investment solutions and offering advice on various investment structures for European investors, such as Managed Accounts, UCITS and Fund of Ones. We advise and provide access to a select group of top private debt managers offering a variety of private debt from senior loan funds to US Senior and Mezzanine debt and Asian Direct Lending.
BPC advises on the selection of alternative UCITS managers and on composing a Fund of UCITS Fund. BPC advises on the creation and selection of Alternative Investment Funds (AIFs) in Luxemburg. AIFs are European regulated investment funds which provide a channel for European Investors to hold investments managed by US hedge fund managers.
Alpha generation targets significant additional returns above negative cash (annualised target returns 3-5%). Manager's skills come with constraints such as capacity, and managers seek to protect capital in the short term. Internal Manager Capital and strong conviction align managers and institutional investors with the additional risk needed to achieve superior returns.
