Chelsea was founded in 1983 by our present Chairman, Dr John Holder. We were the first intermediary to discount initial charges on unit trusts and bonds, and later PEPs and ISAs. Over the past thirty years or so, our clients have saved tens of millions of pounds they would have paid in charges had they bought direct from investment companies.
Our research department has expanded over the years and we now have a dedicated team of four, along with two others who also contribute. Furthermore, Darius, our managing director, interviews fund managers, alongside the rest of the team, and is involved in fund selection. All team members have various sector responsibilities and interview fund managers.
Aegon has decided to make these improvements while stock markets are closed, in order to cause as little inconvenience as possible. Our friendly and helpful team will also be available throughout the weekend, should you wish to call us and request activation codes. If you have already requested an activation code you should receive this early next week, if you have not done so already.
